A beautiful knife, and great grain in the wood. Nice image. Paul, Zos - you should try this once or twice. Zos, as you suggest, sometimes out-of-focus areas can add to a composition, but if you want sharpness throughout, then this can be a useful tool. And if you shoot with a camera that supports tethering, then there is probably an app that will automate the process of successive shots. If for example you were using this approach to doing small product shots. Or if you had many botanical or insect specimens that needed to be captured for journal or textbook illustrations. stan -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
