Indeed. Last Friday (5th) I travelled up to town. We were filming an old campaigner who had seen much action in the middle east and north Africa. He was going down to the Mall to 'say good-bye' with the thousands of others. We got shots of him as the gun carriage sailed slowly past, the Princes et al in time behind, on its way to Westminster Hall to lie in state. I have never filmed the Queen Mother (done Charles, HMQ and Anne) but by all accounts <g> she was a great lady. It's a very sober day here in England today. May she rest in peace.
