I like the unlatered Board of Trade the best -
and then the very colorful window ... in the last set.
The first shot makes me sad -- because despite what it says on the
building, it isn't Marshall Field's anymore. Though I am glad Macy's
left the placques up. My mother worked at Field's in the 50's through
the early 70's - I miss it so.

1) I took a photo of the Burberry building on Michigan Ave in Chicago. The
first photo in the two-frame gallery below is said photo. During
post-processing in Lightroom 5, I used the Enable Profile Correction, Constrain
Crop, Vertical, and Horizontal. The second photo shows the playful results. I
popped the color and decided to use for my PAW for week 48. It seems as if the
diagonal lines in the building have confused the Lightroom 5 Profile Correction

2) On my way to a meeting, I passed an entrance to the Board of Trade. What I
saw was mildly intriguing-enough to pull the camera out. The first image is as
shot, but the two images that follow are renderings done on my new iPad Air.
Probably a little presety for some, but I decided to use the third image for my
PAW week 49. By the way, if you have an older iPad and wonder if you should
upgrade to the iPad Air, I say do it. It is amazing. I’m extremely happy with
my purchase. You won’t regret it—especially if you’re a heavy iPad user.

3) Thanksgiving Saturday walkabout: I never participate in Black Friday or
shop Thanksgiving weekend. Just to nuts for me. But I do like to go downtown
to watch the crowds. I have to say, I could really sense a cheerful holiday
energy, and the stores were not overly crowded; folks were shopping to be sure,
but good natured decorum was evident. Just an 8 frame playful gallery.
