Thanks Ann.  

I did exagerate a little when I said "just across the street"
El Solyo Hts road is a couple hundred yards south of my house
on hwy 9, and the trail the tree is on is at the end of ElSolyo
about a mile up the road.  

If you click on "Ben Lomond" in the text below the picture
it will call up the map.

But, yes, I'm very spoiled.  The shortest walk to Fall creek
park is about 2/3 of a mile from my house, behind the high 
school I went to.  There is a river in my back yard, and
the Ocean's about an 8 mile drive.

Although, there are times that I think it would be very fun 
to live someplace like where you do.
