Tom Mix's horse NO.
But Lariat Sam had Tippy Toes the Wonder Horse, and Tom Terrific had
Mighty Manfred the Wonder Dog ... hmmmm? Do I perceive a pattern here?
FWIW, I think Sgt. Preston was with the North-West Mounted Police. I'm
not sure, but I think they were a predecessor agency that later became
the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.

Yeah. He was "Sgt Preston of the Yukon" on radio, too. I think it was
a 15 minute show every day. Here in the midwest, it aired between 5 and
6 PM, just before "Tom Mix". (Anyone remember the name of Tom Mix's
horse?) ; >]

No, Yolanda, that is a pose out of Yukon King, the faithful companion
of Sergeant Preston of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. (For the
young kids on the list, that was a popular radio show when I was a wee
lad.)
