Thanks, Dan, and thanks to everyone else who commented. We were very lucky in New Toronto (older suburb just west of the city). No one out here was affected that I heard of. Just east (Mimico) and west (Long Branch and Mississauga) of us lost power; some for only a few hours, some longer.
At one point I think up to several hundred thousand were without electricity. As of yesterday there were 120,000, today down to 70,000. The storm hit on Saturday night and Sunday so this is a long time in freezing temps to be without power. It's all downed wires, all very local so it's a time-consuming procedure to get things repaired on a block by block basis. Luckily no deaths reported. There certainly is a beauty to it though. Glad a few of you enjoyed what I was able to capture. Thanks again. Cheers, frank "Daniel J. Matyola" <[email protected]> wrote: >Nice gallery.
