I keep an eye on it to make sure the results aren't nuts, but my level of 
photography is just barely above snapshots.  6400 doesn't ruin anything for me. 

I could focus and be more careful and blah blah blah, but it's not been a 
priority in my life!

And, frankly, the K5 is pretty good about when to select the right speed (in my 
opinion).  It doesn't ramp up to 6400 unless it's necessary.
