A three weeks roadtrip for an area the size of whole of Scandinavia (at least), can't be anything but touch-and-go. In my honest opinion that makes all pictures obtained this way into travelogue shots regardless of the sun's position in the sky at the time of pressing the button.

To be honest, I mentally regard the whole trip as reconnoisance for further trips some time in the future. In particular I'd love to go back to the High Sierras and to Death Valley. Awesome places that deserve a lot more attention than I had time to give them.

Quite amazing. I enjoyed your shots almost as much as you must have
enjoyed
the trip. The "dawn" & "dusk" part intrigues me - what about the rest
of the
day?
