Since I recalled my photos from Las Vegas Fusion Exchange, I thought I'd post here some photos from that event that I liked the most, - all for different reasons, as explained below.
"Fusion Exchange" is a dance festival where people dance variety of dances (or rather "interpretive dance") to a variety of music styles. It is the way to interpret the music via dance. Actually, last year, I convinced the organizers that there should be a fusion of music, dance and photography, and I was teaching a workshop on dance photography. So, here are the photos: This one is very expressive: http://42graphy.org/swing/lvfx/Jan4/_IR01415.html This one is "contrasty": http://42graphy.org/swing/lvfx/Jan4/_IR01360.html This one is funny (tribute to the DJ): http://42graphy.org/swing/lvfx/Jan4/_IR01353.html This one is sensual: http://42graphy.org/swing/lvfx/Jan4/_IR01329.html This one is twisted: http://42graphy.org/swing/lvfx/Jan4/_IR01293.html This one is headed: http://42graphy.org/swing/lvfx/Jan3/_IR01075.html This one is inspiRED: http://42graphy.org/swing/lvfx/Jan4/_IR01405.html This one is fanned out: http://42graphy.org/swing/lvfx/Jan6/_IR01752.html This has some funny angle to it: http://42graphy.org/swing/lvfx/Jan4/_IR01343.html And if after this many, you still want to see more, here is the full set of galleries from that event: http://42graphy.org/swing/lvfx/ (It is a large gallery, but it is aimed at the event participants.) All comments are welcome. Cheers, Igor PS. Larry: I am sure you'd recognize quite a few dancers and musicians. -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
