I responded the other evening but it didn't come through.

Personally I don't find this bleak. Love snow, especially new, fluffy, fresh 
forest snow. I used to love snowshoeing (never did figure out where I lost 
them).

Gorgeous photo, beautifully composed, wonderful colours and sharpness.
