For future reference, periodically, perhaps every few months, run A LOT of pure hot water down your drain. If you have a tank type water heater, drain the hot into your kitchen drain. Also, if you have a low volume toilet, it's a good idea to flush it by holding the valve open and letting the tank drain every now and again.
