FWIW, the last time I remember them issuing an actual winter weather
advisory for "one to two inches" was in 2000 when we ended up getting 24
inches dumped on us.
Keep in mind that this is where 1/4 inch of snow prompted the school
system to announce a mid-day closure that prompted a panic by the
carpet-baggers leaving work causing 12 hours of grid-lock resulting in
no school buses being able to get through to the schools & the kids
having to shelter in place overnight.
