Bruce, Ken, Attila, Steve and Larry, Thank you all for sharing your opinion about specfic photos. While I can see that there are some differences in preferences, I see some trends and confirmations of my own thoughts.

There is also another aspect: I did not use a direct flash and had it bouncing of the wall behind me or of the ceiling - to get less harsh light. Otherwise my Metz 58 would bleach out all the faces and skin from such a short distance. I could have dialed down the power, but I think the way I used it resulted in reasonably smooth light. Also, - just in case, the shots from 09123 (last 2.5 rows), except 09130, inlcuding all those that have a color of the light in them were shot without any flash. They all are less then sharp, and you can clearly see that people who responded on this thread did not like them much.
