Depends on how close the macro is.
The D FA100/2.8 is a good macro choice. It's a little long on the APS-C format, but the 50 is on the short side (YMMV), and I would prefer to err on the side of more working distance than less. In the Pentax line up, good macro lenses to avoid are the early FREE designation ones. Which is too bad, because they really are excellent lenses. Unfortunately they hot spot fairly easily.
