Aha! A meaty thread! (grinning wide like Worf dreaming of battle)

Well, I haven't shot stills at an airshow before, so I was wondering what
to bring. However, having said that, because there will be a gathering of
PDMLers, I was gonna sorta bring everything. That way, folk who've never
seen or used what I have could get a chance to play. I'm still hopeful
that John Dickins will provide some lenses (at least) and that's reminded
me that I must get in touch again and pin him down.

For an airshow though, I would have thought it's mostly telephoto work? I
suppose a wide angle would be useful on some of the static displays. And
IMO fill-in flash would be essential in a cockpit with a sunny day
outside (ha!) and so I'll birng the modified AF280T for some pubic
scrutiny.

Actually thinking about it, I'm getting some good ideas of what I'd like
to shoot. Bearing in mind this airshow will feature planes of WWII
vintage, the largest bird there is likely to be a Lancaster? It would be
nice to catch a row of formated Spits in the distance turning, sunlight
glinting of the canopies...

Anyway, my list will be:

LX+drive
MX+winder
Leica CL + 40 f/2
A*85 1.4
Tok 17 3.5
Tok 28-70 2.8
Sig 70-200 2.8
Tok 300 2.8
Tok 500 f/8 mirror (which will be for sale - price TBA with 10pc discount
at show!)
AF280T (modified for fill-in)
Superia 200
Delta 400 + 100
Polarising filters
LowePro pack
Monopod
Oh yeah, nearly forgot: a working pre-production 6MP full frame Pentax
DSLR...

;-)
