Thanks all 16 of you who have commented and liked the shot - the most recent comment *read/that arrived in my mailbox anyway) is Bob's so figured I'd do the thank everyone thing here... So very glad you all like the shot - it means a lot. I had been not feeling much like shooting the last few weeks and suddenly looking out the window this morning after Ashley woke me up too early (meow, meow, feed me feed me) I grabbed the K-5, started shooting through the window, then opened it.. fortunately, the wind wasn't blowing the snow in my direction.. but the scene was exciting to me - enormous snowflakes, sometimes blowing sometimes almost holding still, it seemed. Made me feel good.

The snow stopped by 11 am ... got so much warmer the sidewalks were clear by 1pm after people did easy shoveling.. but the street corners were lakes. Had to ship something and it was a challenge walking to the post office a few blocks away... but the walk felt good... I didn't take the camera with me - well, I took the little dark side P&S but didn't use it.

Lucky to live where I do with this kind of weather - with everything
I need close by -
