I played around with various crops and I think you mean something like I choose for the thumbnail of this image on my 500px page, see it here: http://500px.com/attila_b I also like that version, but I kept the top part because of the pattern formed by the dark dome on top, the light areas under the spotlight, and the dark window on the bottom right. I like this dark-light-dark pattern formed by arcs.
