Actually, neither of us were. My daughter is taking a beginning photo class (actually starting out with b&w film, which they process and print themselves) and I was out shooting with her at our local state park. She was taking a forestscape when the eponymous cyclist appeared. I just happened to have my camera pointed in the right direction at the right instant.
