I just noticed that at the skating competition the photographers in the front video/photo row are almost all shooting while holding their cameras by hands. I think I noticed either 1 or 2 monopods, and even one of those was most of the time on the side, while the photographer was using his other camera hand-held.
I am so much used to see photographers with monopods in that row... Is that a new trend ... or maybe I just never paid attention to them in figure skating competitions?
