How definitions have changed, 200mm on APS-C is the equivalent of 300mm
on 35mm which was the beginnings of super telephoto. In regards to the
lens itself, I'd be interested in knowing that as well, the A is a
different optical design from the M which is very good.on APS-C digital,
as well as film. The A doesn't have quite so good a reputation. But as
has been noted digital is different than film.
