The computer I use for Photoshop has a message from Micro$oft Windoze
Update that I need to upgrade Internet Exploder to version 11.

I don't use Internet Exploder except for one site. I wouldn't use it for
that site if I didn't still have the requirement from DFAS (for my
retired pay).

But, I don't use that computer to access the one site that requires
Internet Exploder, so I don't use Internet Exploder at all on that computer.

So the question is are there any other security concerns I should be
aware of for the down-level version of Internet Exploder if I never use it?

Is there any way to remove Internet Exploder from Windoze 7 64-bit?

I remember there was a "patch" to Windoze 95/98 that would remove all
but the tiniest stub. It had something to do with Micro$oft losing a
court case in Australia or New Zealand, but I think that went away in XP.
