Even ~better~ than you remember:  The macro mode in the A 35-70/4
goes all the way to 1:2.7, focusing down to 0.25 meters (10 inches)
at its 70mm FL.  It ~really~ is an unusual "macro zoom" in that its
"macro mode" (or close-focusing function, actually) is really quite
