I now know it's a railway station but it reminds me of some of the oldest pavilions that we have at the Canadian National Exhibition, an annual, permanent Toronto fair that dates back to Victorian times.
Very cool building. Glad that those that escaped the wrecking ball of modernity are now preserved and protected. Wonderful photo.
