I remember being told by a Denali Ranger about an experience he had at one
of the bus stops in the park - an irate passenger had told him that a Bald
Eagle had made of with her pet dog - something small as I recall and told
her that was one of the reasons the park didn't permit pets in the park.

Thanks Mark. The Ducks & Geese In Motion
http://www.photocapturesbyjeffery.com/p339098354/e25c6480e was an
experiment while at Centennial Park late evening during December.
Here is one of our Tiny:

concerned with the Hawk taking off with him but them attempting it and
causing him harm.

Nice shots - though looking at your gallery "Ducks & Geese In Motion"
really grabbed me. Very interesting and engaging image...
How tiny is Tiny? Could a Coopers Hawk really be a threat? I have had a
few coopers around my feeders this winter - watched one take out a Junco
a few weeks ago, which was a shame since I live in the city and Junco's
are uncommon. The coopers usually takes sparrows and rarely a pigeon. I
have seen fox squirrels ignore coopers and eat birdseed inches away from
them. Hopefully Tiny is a bit too big.

Early yesterday me and Tiny, our Chihuahua, were out in the back yard. I
caught an interesting shadow on the ground flying by and I spotted what
it was and it was a Hawk. It perched up in the tree in the front yard
and I thought to myself sure nowwatch you fly off so me and Tiny went
back inside. We then went out on the front porch and I get on the
sidewalk and look up and it was still there so I come in change lenses
and head back to the backyard. Well as I head down the steps I spot a
Hawk flying past and think gee I missed the Hawk and to my surprise it
was a different Hawk. I get some of the one in the tree and then it
flies off. I go back inside and we go out to the front and I see the two
of them in a tree on the corner and I created some more of them while
they perched up in that tree.
Here is one of them in flight:
