Yeah, I don't get it. Buy a high end full frame DSLR and then leave a consumer zoom on it forever. As an aside, we like our SUVs out here because driving in the winter is akin to driving off road. We don't get our streets plowed very often, and for half the year, 4WD is nice for city driving.
