I guess the move to drop the 'www' prefix is being implemented in some places 
but not others.  Some
URL's are being notified without the prefix in some links I have been provided 
with recently:
perhaps it depends on the ISP.
I hate it when well-established standards are broken like this.
Coupled with my ISP changing my web folder URL without telling me, it gets more 
frustrating than
ever!
