The worst I recall responding to some year ago, was a hotel builder's request 
for someone to shoot his just completed sizable hotel. He specified I give him 
shots of room examples, meeting room, pool and front desk area as well as 
exterior views.
When he asked how much I would charge, I named a figure that would justify 
several hours shooting.
His response was; "What, a roll of film only costs a few dollars."

It never ceases to amaze me that there are folks who think you should 
work for nothing.  I blame it all on George Eastman and the "You press 
the button, we do the rest" concept.  When cameras were put in the hands 
of the consumer the assumption that "anyone can do this so why should we 
pay for it" was born.   :>)  Great response from the photographer.
