More shadow play in Center City Philly: http://photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=17720909
or http://gallery.photo.net/photo/17720909-lg.jpg (K-5, DA 16-45) Unfortunately there are subtleties in the lighting that don't survive conversion to an sRGB jpg. The "1752" plaque shows that the homeowner subscribed to one of the volunteer fire companies that provided fire protection from 1736 (when Benjamin Franklin organized the first one) until the Philadelphia Fire Department was organized in 1870. If your house caught fire and you weren't a subscriber to a fire company, the neighbors brought marshmallows to toast. The houses in this neighborhood were built in the early 1800s. Comments?
