I like the brick background and its lighting and thought it added a good feel to the portrait. The space to the left would be okay if the vertical black line thingy wasn't there. Makes me wonder why it was included. perhaps a small crop to eliminate the black thingy.

Perhaps the negative-y space is misused: too negative or not negative
enough? I thought that the brick textures and light revealed about
about the industrial setting, but maybe I should zoom out more?
