Hi Kari, If you notice the overexposure as shown by the meter, then you have a problem with aperture value transmission. My old Tamron 80-210/3.8-4 on PKA Adaptall used to behave this way, with a negligible error of around a third of stop. This happened only in aperture priority and manual mode, when you set the aperture on the lens. The culprit is a small lever on the Adaptall indicating the selected aperture.
But if the overexposure displays only on film, and is not seen by the meter, then the mechanism of closing aperture on the Adaptall is flawed. Does anyone else has such a trouble with Tamron adaptals? - This message is from the Pentax-Discuss Mail List. To unsubscribe, go to http://www.pdml.net and follow the directions.
