I guess the solution to happiness, then is cheap lenses, a 12" VGA
monitor and never print larger than 4x6. ;>)

It's not just the image formation question.
I think a lot of it has to do with having a 24" display (really several).
These things sure bring out the detail. It's like printing an 11x14 or so
every time.
You see everything -- strengths and weaknesses.
