As I understand it, in LR you never edit RAW files anyway; you are always using a generated jpeg representation of the "true" RAW image. So it makes sense to not burden your iPad with full RAW files which would then need to be rendered before you could do any edits... I saw a review/discussion of the iPad LR app recently. My impression: why bother? IIRC, you can use the iPad app to edit images taken with the iPad (not something I do often enough to justify $9.99/month). Or you can synch to a collection of images which have already been downloaded to your computer, edit those images, synch again to move the edit info back to the master files. Might be useful if you spend a lot of time on bus/train/plane and want to use the time doing ratings/edits of images. Otherwise, probably not. stan > > Reviews aren't too good either. > > Cheers, Christine > > Sent from my iPad > >> On Apr 18, 2014, at 1:21 PM, John Sessoms <[email protected]> wrote: >> >> I remember PhotoShop CS3 for the iPhone: >> >> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5aJBYWFwzvE >> >>> On 4/17/2014 2:15 PM, Christine Aguila wrote: >>> Hi Team: >>> >>> Just downloaded the recent Lightroom 5 app, which now allows me to >>> sync with the iPad Lightroom Mobile app, which I haven’t downloaded >>> on the tablet.
