The current assignment in our little astrophotography workshop is to capture old Sol. I made a solar filter for my telescope (shown in several documentary photos: https://www.flickr.com/photos/pixelsmithy/13628779483/ ) but for this image I used the Bigma. Taken a few minutes ago during my afternoon break from here at work.
Nothing artistic, just the first decent photo I have ever gotten of sunspots.
