It looks like you had some nice light but none of these work well for me. As Bill suggest, they are lacking a strong center of interest. There is some nice light apparent, especially in the first shot and the last. I also struggle with the scale here - looks to be a pretty small waterfall, maybe a foot or so high?

I don't know about the frothy foam in the latter images though - looks like the kind of thing that is immensely appealing because of its motion but doesn't work in still photos. (I've shot many images of grass waving in the breeze, sand blowing down the beach, tress bending under the wind that have come back with nothing...)

Maybe wade out into the little stream, plop your camera close to the waterfall, dial down the ISO and put on a ND filter (or a polarizer) and try for a silky water shot. Or skip the slow shutter and do a multi exposure of the falling water (not so silky but still conveying a sense of motion.)

This afternoon I went on a short hike to see if I could find a waterfall that I

There is a photo that I made several attempts at. I like it, but I don’t think
I’ve got it at it’s best.

870, 872 and 875 in this set:

875 is processed as black and white.
872 was shot in a vertical format and rotated to horizontal.

Constructive advice sought.
