This was probably in the works for some time. I don't honestly know if this means that sony will still continue SLT. The successor to the A99 will likely prove those rumors false or true. Clearly there are still benefits (PDAF) to having a mirror. Its interesting because the press is talking about how it is going to finally give Canon and Nikon some competition due to their lack of a pro-grade APS-C camera, as if the K-3 is all but forgotten now.
