Yes it was a pretty high ISO. I actually knocked down the globe and the
white strip a bit already. The room is fairly dim, lighted by indirect
lighting, of which the white strip is the expression, a range of CFL,
and LED light sources are reflected off the wall. The globe also
contains a light source.

Since its an informal portrait, my comments may be ignored.
However, cloning out the white globe on the lower LH side and
eliminating the white strip along the top would improve the capture IMO.
The image has a gritty feel to it - high ISP?
