I would look into the Epson 1280 for a printer. If you need real archival quality check out the Epson 2000P. I have heard that the pigmented inks in the 2000P limits you on paper selection, no glossy resin coated papers for instance. You can get a refillable archival ink system from Luminous for the 1280. I've been trying to get feedback on how well that works compared to the 1280's standard inks and how well the Luminous inks work with different brands of paper.
