I’ve completed some heavy work responsibilities that I’ve had for the last two years—all gone now. Yes! Yes! Yes! I took a walk in the park yesterday with my nephew, and it felt such a luxury. Speaking of my nephew, Akira, (think portrait in PDML annual)—at the age of 13, he’s 5 foot 11 inches! Shooting with the iPad was fun, but I did have some challenges. The daylight glare on the screen was somewhat annoying, but I did get used to it, and it is a bit awkward to handle—no camera strap, holding it steady out in front of you and figuring out how to hold when not shooting can be clumsy. Still, it was fun and a bit freeing.
