IT turns out that to the far right of the bar that contains the http...
etc there is a tiny little thing that has three lines on top of each
other - I clicked on it and got a drop down.. in firefox the equivalent
of that is always visable.
I'm wondering if the Avast techie got his mitts on that when he was
rescuing me last month and had control of my computer... hmmm..
I may have more questions, steve, but you can understand why I didn't
grasp what you were saying.. I often find the universal symbols used
to be confusing. a stack of lines that are the same length to me is
a Ms Word thing for the way you spread out the type, newspaper column
style in what you are writing.
I think I'll take my blood pressure before I go back and read your first
instructions :-)
