Thank you very much, Christine. The only skin plugin I use is Imagenomic Portraiture. It's excellent for reducing discolorations and overall unevenness without blurring or destroying detail. But the bulk of my retouching is actually very careful and painstaking manual dodge&burn and selective healing brush.
Nik's skin filter in Color Efex Pro can also be used, but not with the (terrible) default settings and you have to manually mask it off after creating a new skin layer.
