The High Line is an elevated railway converted to a greenway on the west side
of lower Manhattan, the first section of which opened in 2009. From the 1930s
until 1980 it carried freight to factories and warehouses, but manufacturing
declined and trucks took over.

During a brief visit to NYC last week we took a walk on the High Line, and of
course I exercised the K-5.
