I am *NOT* an expert, but I found Robert's Rules online:

http://www.rulesonline.com/

... if that helps.

The most interesting thing I learned is that Robert was a US Army
Officer. I had always assumed that based on the long title "Pocket
Manual of Rules of Order for Deliberative Assemblies" that he was a
British Parliamentarian. And, instead of being based on procedures from
the House of Commons, "Robert's Rules" were based on the procedures of
the US House of Representatives.

I don't suppose we have any experts in Robert's Rules of Order here
do we? If so, and are willing to answer a couple of questions, or
point me to the relevant section,I would appreciate some advice.

thanks bill
