That's a great "catch"! I like how it is framed, and the angle. I also like the colored background and the way the grass appears OOF in the foreground and in focus around the beast.
I am not 100% sure if it is the effect of JPEG, but the eye appears slightly less sharp then I'd wish it to be. If not an artifact of resizing, I would have increased the DOF for that. (I like how well in focus the antlers are).
