DOne in Google chrome - easy peasy
Thanks!
However, I just recently updated Firefox and the whole look of it
changed to make it look more like Google (as someone pointed out)
so I'm lost... It has all sorts of crap I don't need there and
I couldn't find the way to change what that little home icon references :-(
someone will know - as a last resort I'll call time warner (since they
are making me change) but I'd sure rather not

Roadrunner is taking my personal home page away..
It hasn't been changed since 2008 - I mainly use it as
a landing page and easy linking...
this is the link that will be gone tomorrow
http://home.roadrunner.com/~annsansdirectory/
it is what you gt to if I click on the home icon in any browser
Basically, I'd like to change it to my smugmug page, but I dont know
where in either browser I tell it where I want it to be.
It is just an HTML page , parts of which have been broken for a long
time... but Time warner is dropping everyones personal home pages
because so few of us use them they said. Annoying.
In Chrome, there is a little icon of 3 lines making a small square in
the top right corner.
Click it, which will give you a drop down menu.
Click Settings
Near the top of the settings page is "On Startup"
The third radio button is "Open a specific page or set of pages. Set
pages"
where Set pages is a link.
Click that and paste the page you want as the home page into the window
that appears.
I believe it is similar in Firefox, but I haven't used that browser for
long enough that I can't be sure, and I don't have it on my computer.
