First - yes, a nice picture postcard, Jack - like the bw. It sent me into my travel journals to see when it was I saw it up close (or at a distance), because I know I have seen it - having driven Rt 1 between the Bay area and LA back in the 80's. Don't know what I have in my slide collection... but if I'd gotten that shot it would have been a print long ago.

Btw, the horizon looks straight to me - I think the lighthouse itself is leaning a bit- might be leaning more today (aside to Brian)

Yes, I think you're right about the fence still being there. Weathered and in
need of paint.
Close ups of which would likely improve the scene.

Appreciated remarks, Bob. Thanks!

Nice shot Jack. I think that fence is still there.
The ME Super made nice images and you surely knew how to take advantage of it.

I posted the color version of this some time back. Been thinking of following up
with a B&W conversion and am finally
getting around to it.
It's an "OLD" negative taken with an ME Super about 30 years ago.
The slide was scanned years ago by a Walgreen's Pioneer(?) lab. The local
camera store with the oft used Nikon 9000 scanner
has since closed. I could make a trip to the city for a decent scan and may do
so.
Location; Central CA coast.

Comments appreciated.
