Paul,

Thank you for the reference to the RR papers.
Actually, right around the moment I was sending the message to PDML,
I was checking your previous response to my quesiton about metallic
papers, and checked out RR website for the pearl papers.
I saw those satin papers.

I am tempted to try them, but a combination of a few factors stops me at
the point:
1. The shipping for just one pack of paper is a bit too expensive, about
$7.
Since I am buying Epson inks, I considered buying those from RR, instead
of Atlex. While the nominal shipping is cheaper than that at Atlex,
the prices make up and bring the overall cost some $15 higher than
what I'd be paying at Atlex for a comparable package.

I was also considering buying a "sample pack", and I was very
disappointed by the way they do their sample packs. They actually
mark the paper on the FRONT side. They say that you can cut
8.5"x11" pieces to a useable 8"x10" size, but I have much smaller use for
8"x10", and besides, I don't want to cut where I don't have to.
You might consider it a caprice. To some extent, it is.
When I see that Atlex sells _fully_ usable sample packs, (and has cheaper
inks) I feel that RR makes their sample packs awkward way for no good reason.
So, I am considering if I should vote against that with my wallet.
But I am still thinking..
