When I bought the mac mini recording studio in a box it came with an
ASUS VS208 monitor.
It's only 1600 x 900, but I know it will work with the mac mini.

i think you are shooting a bit high; if it existed price would be high,
plus the Mini wouldn't scale UI elements appropriately (as the OS knows
to do on real "retina" displays)

assuming it has HDMI, that would suggest what to look for … e.g. this,
