I finished my first roll of film in my xr-m. It was a pleasant surprise
to find out when opening the back to take the film out that the leader
was still out! The manual makes no mention of film leader out on rewind
but if this is a assumed feature its pretty neat(and i hope the midroll
rewind does the same). I always wanted that in my auto-rewind cameras
(xr-10m doesnt have it. zx-5n doesnt). No of shots left (once it is less
than 9 on DX encoded film) display in viewfinder can be helpful too tho
i dont think i would ever use that. On the negative side, it doesnt let
me fire the shutter unless there is film inside. And the rewind is
noisy.

its neat.
