I find it interesting that basically the same question came up twice,
appearently independantly, on this group within a couple of days.

I apologize to this group for the incompleteness of my reply to the tread
"Tamron adaptall overexposures." What I should have said was that I got
overexposures with both my PZ-1 and Pz-1p cameras set to Hyperprogram mode
and multipattern metering with A lenses set to A. In my previous post I
referred to A lenses and cameras on hyper program mode but omitted the
multipattern metering part. Most of what else I said is still accurate, at
least to me. To summarize with corrections:
1) Overexposure, when it occurred, did so on PZ-1 & PZ-1p bodies set to Hyper
program mode and on Multi-pattern metering with A lenses set to A
2) Not everyone experienced the problem and it did not seem to occur with all
A lenses
3) Switching the metering to center weight seems to allow for "correct"
exposures

I noticed when reviewing some of my old hard copy that overexposure was not
problem if the camera was set to aperture priority.

BTW - I found hard copy of related treads on this subject from Sept. 1996,
Aug. 1997, Jul. 1998 treads.

Again, I apoligize for the incompleteness of my previous post.
