I think a lot of people here lost interest some time ago but I've
continued to submit images because the PPG has been an easy way to
compile a nicely presented online gallery.
Lately, though, I'm seeing a lack of interest on the part of
Ricoh/Pentax. For example, submissions are taking over a month to be
rejected or accepted and the 'Featured Artist' on the home page hasn't
changed in over 6 months. I even sent the PPG team an email asking
when we might see a new featured artist - no response.
I think it's just a matter of time before they pull the plug for good.
Pity - it started with high expectations but it seems likely to go out
with a whimper.
